I don't really know you
And you don't really know me,
But if we had been friends

What could have happened
To make your life so grim?

To make your bright light dim?

My memories of you
Were always of a smiling face,
So what made you pick up your life
And cause it to be erased?

What events could take away
The meaning out of your life?
What could take away your cheerful glow
